About

Justin Crawford, Pittsburgh PA based artist

Painter, builder, portrait artist, print maker — interested in simple, beautiful things.

Most of my personal work is portraiture, people that inspire me: musicians, artists, writers, or someone with an interesting look or story. I predominately use reclaimed canvases and panel boards for my personal work — mass produced decor items that I give a second life by creating wholly unique pieces.

The majority of my commissions are solo and family portraits, pet portraits, paintings of historic and famous figures, and boudoir pieces. Working across multiple disciplines — oil, acrylic, plaster, glass, printing — I am open to any and all requests.

My approach is thoughtful, subtle, and precise — How you do anything is how you do everything.

If you have questions or comments, want to chat about a commission or a mural, are interested in collaborations or looking to fill some gallery walls, feel free to reach out.
